The Catcher in the Rye #2

In the book, The Catcher in the Rye, Holden Caulfield is kicked out of his boarding school, Penncy, for not trying hard enough and failing all but one of his classes, English. It is a Saturday night in the middle of winter and Holden is supposed to be home on Wednesday. Him and his rooom mate, Stradlater, got in a fight. Holden decided that he did not want to stay at the school much longer, so he packed up his things and he left for the train station. When he got to New York City, he went to a hotel. It was a crappy hotel and there was a lot of strange people around. Holden is lonely and he wants someone to talk to. He thinks about people he can call. He wants to call his sibblings. He older brother, D.B., lives in Holleywood and he writes scripts and books for a living. His yournger sister Phoebe, is alseep at the time he wants to call. He does not want to speak to his parents because they probably do not know that he was kicked out of the school. He thinks about calling some girls, but two of them he did not. One girl who he wanted to see, she was a girl that is known for being a slut. She would not meet him because she wanted to get some beauty rest. Holden walks around town and tries to think about stuff to do. He is on his way back to his hotel room when the elevator man asks him if he wants a female to go to his room for a "throw". He agrees. This was a dumb thing for him to do because he is still a virgin. The girl come to the room and they do not do anything because Holden just wants some company and he wants to talk. She leaves and he goes back into town feelign depressed. He calls a friend, who is a beautiful girl to go to a movie with him. She agrees. He goes out and eats lunch and waits for her to go to a movie.
